The folks over at Hemisphere have ported their creation, Osmos, to the Linux platform.
It’s a great game, and they have blogged about their experiences of the porting process here.
They need your help, to make the Linux version a success. It’s really easy – go download the game !!

It looks like a good game – I hope they do make the Linux version a success. But how will they tell? When you buy you get all three formats. So you can’t tell how many people are running the Linux one from the purchases alone…
Also, I managed to buy it and run it on a Windows PC without trouble, but the Linux install was more problematic. First it needed a sound library, then it seemed to run very slowly – so I will have to hit the support boards and try to figure out why. It’s a shame they don’t seem to publish what spec is needed to run the game on their website.
